This Aboriginal art piece, Coral Trout, is a work dear to my heart as I as an Aboriginal woman have a close connection to the ocean and its creatures. The significance of the coral trout is it has feed my family present day as well as my ancestors for generations. It has a beauty to it not only for its colours but for its purpose in the ecological sense. Fish have been and will continue to be a big part of my work.
