This is the sixth in a series of 7 Aboriginal art monoprints that come from the mud map production of ideas. The rag paper is placed in a mangrove, waterhole, creek or floodplain to be characterized by the mud, water and creatures of these areas. Once this process was complete I painted traditional Aboriginal dots to symbolize my tracks. These tracks are the ones I had to follow to complete the set of 7 prints. Each circular symbol, the Aboriginal symbol for waterhole represents where I went to complete these works. These works are the story of their own creation. Monoprint on Rag Paper with Oil, Mud, Ochre and Oxides. (30X48) Unframed. Year: 2004.
