Aboriginal Art: I painted this canvas one evening after coming back from the Keppel Sands beach which overlooks the beginning of The Great Barrier Reef. It is a simple beauty of land being surrounded by water. The moment spoke to me, the lone island surrounded by water yet at peace with its place in the world. It gave me a sense of harmony. This harmony is what we as Aboriginal people treasure; the harmony of Mother Earth and human life. Sand and Acrylic on Canvas (11X12) Stretched.
